Why Botox Cosmetic?

We were all born with smooth, baby soft skin. As frowning and smiling children, the muscles under our skin contract to display facial lines of emotion, signifying happiness or sadness. As soon as our emotions return to normal, our expression lines disappear. But as we go through a lifetime of emotions and our skin begins to lose elasticity, some of the muscles of facial expression leave permanent wrinkles such as frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead lines, and crow's feet around the eyes. These lines can make us look angry, tired, or stressed, making us look older than we feel, and sending out an unintended message to others.

Turning back "the hands of time" has traditionally been considered to be cosmetic or for the sake of vanity. Today, a different attitude prevails. We all want to look as young and energetic as we feel. Several procedures are available to help you put your "best face" forward.

BOTOX Cosmetic injection is a revolutionary procedure that can reduce or eliminate wrinkles in the upper third of the face. BOTOX works by selectively weakening facial muscles beneath the skin that are responsible for unwanted expression lines. It works by blocking the impulses from facial nerves to these muscles, thereby relaxing them. The result is that facial muscles relax, causing the skin to flatten and take on a smooth, unwrinkled look. This is a simple, quick, minimally invasive treatment that delivers dramatic results. You can resume all your activities immediately after treatment.

Do you want longer, fuller, darker Lashes?

Banner 1

We’re pleased to introduce LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03%—the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker, and darker.

LATISSE™ has been studied in clinical trials to demonstrate its safety and effectiveness. To see more results or learn more, visit www.latisse.com.

Important Safety Information
Do not use LATISSE™ solution if you are allergic to one of its ingredients.

LATISSE™ solution is intended for use on the skin of the upper eyelid margins at the base of the eyelashes. DO NOT APPLY to the lower eyelid. If you have a history of abnormal intraocular pressure (IOP), you should only use LATISSE™ under the close supervision of your physician.

LATISSE™ use may cause darkening of the eyelid skin which may be reversible.  Although not reported in clinical studies, LATISSE™ use may also cause increased brown pigmentation of the colored part of the eye which is likely to be permanent.

You should tell your physician you are using LATISSE™ especially if you have a history of eye pressure problems. You should also tell anyone conducting an eye pressure screening that you are using LATISSE™.

The most common side effects after using LATISSE™ solution are an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness. This was reported in approximately 4% of patients.  LATISSE™ solution may cause other less common side effects which typically occur on the skin close to where LATISSE™ is applied, or in the eyes. These include skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids.

Do you want to look as young as you feel?

Your eyes are usually the first thing that people notice about your appearance. They are probably the most important aspect of facial attractiveness. Even with a good night's sleep, loose skin over your eyes or bags under your eyes can make you look tired or sad or older than you really are. As we go through life, even if we have taken care of ourselves, the skin around your eyes stretches and wrinkles. Fatty deposits cause the upper lids to sag, while under the eye the tissue can bulge forward and become discolored. In severe cases, vision can become partially blocked. Plastic surgery for your eyes can lift your spirits as well as improve your vision.

Typically, these unwanted characteristics come with age, beginning in the late thirties and early forties, but hereditary factors can cause a much younger person to appear prematurely aged. Exposure to the sun, use of alcohol, smoking, and less than optimal nutrition all accelerate the signs of aging.

To correct upper lid problems, an incision is made along the naturally occurring crease. Placement of a second incision depends on the amount of tissue to be excised and the desired result. After excision of a skin-muscle flap, prolapsing fat pads are removed. The skin is then closed with tiny sutures. For "bags" under the eyes, the incision is usually made inside the lower lid. Fat pads are excised; no skin is removed and sutures are usually not required.

In most cases, a CO2 laser is used to gently remove excess skin and fat because it coagulates as it cuts resulting in less bleeding, therefore, less bruising. Eyelid surgery is often performed in the office under local anesthesia. This depends on the amount of reconstruction needed and the patient's preference and health.
